Made to order & pre-orders
What does made to order mean?
It means your piece does not exist yet when you buy it. Nothing in this collection sits in a warehouse waiting to ship.
Once you order, your garment goes into the current production cycle. The thread is worked on my altar in the pillar you chose, and then your piece is cut, sewn, and finished by hand.
This is not Amazon, and that is on purpose.
What does it mean to buy a pre-order?
You are reserving a piece that will be made for you during this production window. You pay at checkout, your order joins the current cycle, and when the window closes I make what was ordered. Nothing more.
Why don't you just keep stock?
Because overproduction is one of the biggest problems in fashion, and I refuse to add to it. Making to order means no dead stock, no landfill, and no garments made for people who never arrive.
It also means every piece is made for someone specific. The work in the thread is not generic.
How long until I receive my order?
Pieces ship in 4 to 6 weeks from the day you order. You will receive a shipping email with tracking the moment yours is on its way.
Why does it take that long?
The thread is worked on my altar before anything is cut. That is real spiritual work, done in batches by pillar, and it is not something I rush. After that, every garment is cut, sewn, finished, and packaged by hand.
When are pre-orders open?
Each drop opens for a set window and closes on a fixed date. The close date is posted on the shop page for every drop.
Closing the window is how I make sure everyone who orders receives their piece in a reasonable time, instead of joining a line that never stops growing.
I missed the window. Now what?
Join the waitlist. Waitlist members hear about the next drop before anyone else.
What if my order is delayed?
If anything on my end pushes your order past the 6 week window, you will hear from me directly before that window closes. You will get an updated date and the option to cancel for a full refund.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 48 hours of placing it, for a full refund.
After 48 hours your order is committed to the current production cycle and can no longer be cancelled. The only exception is a delay on my end, explained above.
Can I change my size, color, or pillar?
Yes, within the same 48 hours. Email me with your order number and the change you need.
Returns & exchanges
Can I return or exchange my order?
All sales are final. There are no returns or exchanges.
Every piece is made for you, in your size, your color, and your pillar, and the work in the thread was done with your order in mind. It cannot go to anyone else.
Please read the size guide carefully, and reach out before you order if you are unsure about anything.
What if my piece arrives damaged or defective?
Contact me within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. If something is wrong with the construction, or it was damaged in transit, I will repair or replace it.
Final sale does not mean I won't stand behind my work.
What doesn't count as a defect?
A handmade piece will have natural variation. Slight differences in drape, star placement on the fabric, or how a color looks on your screen are not defects. Damage from washing or wearing against the care instructions is not covered.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
Every order ships with tracking. If tracking shows delivered and you can't find it, check with neighbors and your building first, then contact the carrier. Reach out to me too and I will help you file a claim.
Please double check your shipping address at checkout. I can't be responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address.
Sizing
How do I choose my size?
Use the size guide on each product page. The robes come in grouped sizes, XS/S, M/L, XL/1X, 2X/3X, and 4X/5X because they are built on drape and move across a range of bodies. All other pieces come in XS through 5X.
I'm between sizes. What do I do?
Most pieces in this collection are forgiving because there is good stretch in the fabric. If you are unsure, message me before you order with your measurements and the piece you want, and I will help you choose.
Do you offer custom sizing or custom work?
Yes. Custom sizing and custom pieces are priced by garment, since every request is different.
Email me with what you are looking for, your measurements, and any details that matter to you, and I will send you an estimated quote. You can find my email in the contact section below.
Custom pieces are also final sale.
The work
What spiritual work is in these garments?
This is hoodoo. Before anything is cut, the thread sits on my altar. Spirits are attached, and spell work is layered into it for the pillar you choose. That thread is then sewn through the construction of your piece, so the work lives in the seams rather than on the surface.
What are the four pillars?
Money and Building, Self Love & Attracting Love, Curse breaking & Protection, and Manifesting Your Desires.
Every pillar also carries the same foundation of clearing, opening doors, and protection. Protection is the only pillar built with an extra layer of breaking curses.
Do I need to practice hoodoo to wear this?
No. The work is already done. You don't need an altar, supplies, or any experience.
Is this a closed practice?
The work is closed. Hoodoo is my tradition, and what I do on my altar stays with me.
Receiving the work is not closed. Buying a garment from a hoodoo practitioner does not make you one, and it is not appropriation. The line is claiming the practice. Please don't wear this and call yourself a rootworker.
Does the spell wash out?
No. The spirits are attached to the thread itself, not sitting on the surface, and laundry will not remove them. Angels are also blessing and watching over the thread. Wash your clothes. The spirits will be fine.
Can I buy one as a gift?
Yes. The person who will wear it should be the one to activate it, so make sure the match and petition go to them.
Will this guarantee a specific result?
Spiritual work supports what you are already moving toward. It is not a guarantee of any specific outcome, and results differ from person to person.
Nothing in this collection replaces medical, legal, financial, or mental health care. Please take care of yourself in every way available to you.
Activation
What is activation?
The work is already in your garment before it ships. Activation is what ties it to you specifically. Every order includes a match and a petition for this. You will also need a candle of your own.
How do I activate my piece?
Full instructions are printed and included with your order. The ritual itself is simple and requires no experience.
Do I neefd a special candle?
No. Candles are not included, so you will use one of your own. A taper in white or your favorite color is perfect. However, any candle works, and you do not need a 7 day candle unless you feel called.
Do I have to activate it?
The work is active before it reaches you. Activation is what makes it yours, and I recommend it.
Can I refresh the energy later?
Yes. If you have been through something heavy, have worn it often, or simply want to reconnect with it, the same instructions explain how to refresh it yourself.
Any safety notes?
Activation involves a lit candle that burns all the way down. Use a stable, heat-safe surface away from curtains and anything flammable, never hold a flame near your garment, and never leave a candle unattended. A taper can burn for a few hours, so start when you know you will be home.
Care
How do I care for my garment?
Hand wash cold. Line dry. This is a ritual garment. Treat it accordingly.
Can I iron it?
Don't iron velvet directly, and never put heat directly on the gold stars. Steam from the inside of the garment, or hang it in a steamy bathroom to release wrinkles.
Will the gold stars last?
The stars are a foil print, and like any foil they can wear or crack over time with frequent washing or heat. Gentle hand washing and line drying will keep them beautiful for as long as possible.
How should I store it?
Hang it rather than folding it tightly. Velvet can crush and hold creases when it is packed down.
Accessories
Can I choose my scrunchie colors?
No, and that's on purpose. Every set includes one scrunchie for each of the four pillars, and the colors are chosen intuitively for each set. You get what you are meant to get.
Can I choose my altar cloth color?
You choose the pillar. Because altar cloths are cut from collection scraps, the color is chosen intuitively for each order.
Why are accessories made from scraps?
Because nothing from the altar goes to waste. Every accessory is cut from fabric left over from the garments.
Are accessories final sale too?
Yes. The same final sale policy and 48 hour cancellation window apply.
Blessing service
How does the blessing service work?
Book your tier and you will receive mailing instructions. Send your item to me, I do the work on it, and I send it back with a match and a petition so you can activate it.
How long does it take?
Two to three weeks from the day your item arrives with me.
What can I send?
Clothing, scarves, hats, bags, gloves, and similar personal items. Please do not send heirlooms, anything irreplaceable, or anything of significant monetary value.
Who pays for shipping?
You pay shipping both ways. I strongly recommend tracking and insurance on anything you send.
What if something happens to my item?
I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit, in either direction. Every item is photographed when it arrives so its condition is documented, and it is handled with care while it is with me.
Can you say no to an item?
Yes. I reserve the right to decline any item for any reason, and you will be refunded in full.
Can I cancel?
Within 48 hours of booking, or any time before your item ships to me, for a full refund. Once the work has begun, the service is final.
Shipping, payment & contact
Where do you ship?
I am based in the U.S.A. but ship worldwide. International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes charged by their country.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Shop Pay & Afterpay Installments are available at checkout, so you can split your order into smaller payments.
